Infiniti was attending the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and wanted us to develop a particular project to raise brand awareness at the event.
We asked ourselves, "how could Infiniti - a challenger brand in the automotive industry - get some strong PR in this classic event when Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce, and other legacy car brands are present?
And that was the perfect setup for us to make Infiniti prove they aren't like any other luxury automotive brand.
A couple of months later, now in 2017, surprising news: the "1940 Infiniti That Never Was" was brought to life. The most exciting part was seeing a product design development being originated from an advertising agency.
