SAO PAULO CAPITAL

Sao Paulo Capital Art Project / Work in progress

This is a personal art project born out from my personal experience in the city of São Paulo.

There's always a duality of love and hate by the people who live there. It’s fast paced, intense and expansive, but at the same time, it feels abandoned, impersonal and uncared for. I wanted to create a stronger connection between both parts with iconic work that showed a love and hate for this intriguing city. All the art work produced is meant to be sold and part of the money converted to local NGO's related to the subject of the art.

THE MASP TABLE

The most famous building at Paulista Avenue, designed by Lina Bo Bardi in 1968, always meant to be a side table since the begining of its existence.

THE KNIFE RACK

Fiesp. Copan. Torre Paulista. Italia. Ipiranga. Banespa. All classic and historic buildings located in the heart of Sao Paulo. Now, neighbours and in metalic structure.
